Happy last year of my 20's. . .

Thank you for a very yummy birthday cake Dad!

The Werner 2008 Christmas Day Story

Time to open some presents!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!  I just love my new bed, it is soooo comfortable!  My brother, Homer, even loves it, too!
And we thought our only girl couldn't possibly be spoiled any more. . .
I guess we are being prepared for our future (non-animal) children spoiling.

Off to Pa and Grandmommy's house we go. . .
And who are THESE NERDS?!?!? Are these really the parents of my soon-to-be Niece?  I'm sure she will be perfect in spite of her parents.

Play time!
Caleb and Aunt Charlotte hanging out on Christmas Day.  Yes, I know, he is irresistable.

And to all a good night!

Shhh, don't tell Daddy. . .

This is what our "children" look like when they are begging for my lunch!  Yummy turkey sandwich and cheezits!

Christmas Tea with the girls

Last Sunday Reva took Brett, Jessica and I to a Mother/Daughter Christmas Tea at TPC.  The clubhouse looked beautiful.  Not that is ever doesn't, but decorated with all the Christmas decorations, made it extra beautiful.  May we please have our wedding day all over again????

The tea was a lot of fun.  Mom's with their daughters dressed up in the pretty Christmas plaid's and lots of yummy finger sandwiches and desserts for us to eat!  It really helped get me into the Christmas spirit.

Adam is going to hang up a few Christmas lights today and we are both going shopping for gifts.  I love this time of year when we get to look forward to spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our families, it just puts a smile on my face thinking about it.  :-)  I wish we could all be together at once!  Like I said, may we please have our wedding day all over again, everyday. . .

Norwegian cooking is fun!

Last night Sarah and I went to a cookie baking class that taught us how to make different types of Norwegian cookies.  Sarah's husband, Aage, is Norwegian, so I tagged along to learn some new recipes with her.
It was fun and super yummy!  I will say that two of their cookies are fried and I left there smelling oily.  But besides that, the cookies were all really simple and tasty.
The teachers name was Charlotte too, but she pronounced it like they do in Norway, Char-lotta.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Our trip to Oviedo was very relaxing,  but too quick (I don't want to go back to work.)!  We enjoyed our time with Adam's parents and Aunt Margo and Uncle Richard.  Thanksgiving was absolutely yummy and we stuffed ourselves silly.  I can't believe my clothes still actually fit.

This weekend was also the big FL vs. FSU game!  Adam and I made a bet that whoever loses, buys the other Outback.  Well, I figured that was a win/win because now I get Outback!  Who cares who pays because it all comes from the same place! YAY Outback!  BOOOO Gators (for one day out of the year at least)!

The picture is of Adam, Kickball and Adam's parents dogs, Tess and Andy, all in their Gator gear. Needless to say I was a little outnumbered.

just bored

Adam is still at work since we are SURPRISINGLY! busy at work today.  Anyone need a loan?  heehee.

I am packing for our Thanksgiving trip to Oveido.  I am feeling guilty for leaving Homer, so I thought I would post his picture.  :-)  We can all give him hugs and kisses if we can see him, right?

Hard work DOES pay off!

My clients sent me the most amazing flowers as a Thank You for helping them buy their "dream home" in Hawaii.  The flowers are all tropical.  Bird of Paradise, orchids, there was even a pineapple that had the full plant on top.  The red roses are just an added bonus.  This is actually the back of the arrangement, I couldn't get good lighting for the front, but the back is just as beautiful!

Adam's 30th Birthday Party

On November 8th we celebrated Adam's 30th birthday at our house with all our friends and family.  Adam had a lot of fun watching his new TV!
Wanted to share some pictures of the 3-yes, 3- cakes he had.  Dad made the Reese's cheesecake and our friend Sarah made the Gator and Football.  How appropriate for a Florida Gator Football Birthday party!
