16 Weeks
Can't believe we are almost half way through our pregnancy (only 4 weeks to go!). It seems like time has flown and gone by so slow at the same time.
This weekend we were very productive in getting the baby room cleaned out. It's almost time to tear up the carpet. Can't wait to post pictures! This coming up weekend is TPC, so it will be a fun, relaxing weekend!
I think BW grew a lot this past week, he gave me lots of growing pains, but I love it! There have been a couple of times, I thought I felt him (or HER!) move, but still not sure.
I also had a few "nervous nelly" days, but Adam was right there to calm me down and remind me everything is going great.
Mood: Had some up days and down days.
Energy: I have been fine most of the week, but am VERY tired today. I felt like I slept well last night, but still could definitely go to sleep right now!
Cravings: Nothing unusual!
Nausea: None this week, but appetite has picked up.
Weight Gain: 5 pounds
BW1 this week (per BabyCenter):
Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

15 Weeks
Please don't go into shock that I am actually posting something on our blog. heehee!
We are 15 weeks pregnant! Yay!
Will try to do an update every week:
We saw Dr. Greene a little over a week ago and heard Baby Werner's heartbeat. It sounded great at a strong 158! Next appointment isn't until May 22nd.
We have started working on BW's room. It was kind of our storage room, so there has been lots of cleaning out to do. We are about half way done and then will focus on new floors in there.
Adam has been the BEST Dad-to-be by being so helpful, supportive and patient.
Mood: Great! Got to hear heartbeat AND it was our 4 year Anniversary!
Energy: Doing so much better than first trimester. Rarely feel like napping, but do still like to go to bed around 8:30-9. :-)
Cravings: Nothing unusual!
Nausea: Only when I am super hungry. So much better than first trimester, which was VERY often.
Weight Gain: 4 pounds
BW1 this week (per BabyCenter): Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl!

Summer Fun
Adam's parents treated us to a hot air balloon ride a few weeks ago. We had such a wonderful time. It was pretty amazing how it works!
We got up at 4am and had to be at the launch site by 530am so that we could take off by sunrise. It takes a lot of manpower and planning to make that happen!
Once we took off, it was so calm and beautiful. We flew over Orlando and got to see a few neat sites. Afterwards, there was a champagne toast and breakfast! I will say that for about 10 minutes when we got super high, I was a little nervous about not being strapped into that basket!
Later that day we all enjoyed nice, long naps! :-)
I do have a video also and will try to post that shortly.

May I please eat it?? PPPLLEEAASSEEEE?
Every time I would mention the tomatoes that Addy and I planted, she would ask me one thing: May I please eat it? And I would answer, "When they turn red, you may pick them and eat one!" Well, it was time today. . .
and Addy (oh, excuse me, I mean SNOW WHITE) had TWO!

Tomato plant update
Our tomatoes are a growin'! This picture just shows one side of the planter, but we probaby have 12-15 tomatoes growing. Addy likes to come over and check on them, but I have to remind her that we can't pick them or eat them until they are red. A few of them should be turning soon, so I will post pictures once we can pick them. :-)
In this picture you can see one at the top and bottom and a few smaller one's on the top left.
Palm Coast Trip
End of April Adam and I went to a resort in Palm Coast to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. It was BEAUTIFUL!! We had a room on the ocean and the golf course.
Instead of playing golf ($200/pp!) we decided to just relax and lay by the pool while we were there. They had such fun pool areas! One was a beach and one had a 3 story slide! They also had a lazy river that Adam really enjoyed, but it was a little cold for me.
I posted some pictures of the resort and view from our room. We would definitely recommend this resort to our friends and family and hopefully Adam and I can go back one day! It not only was great for couples, but also for families.
